The company closed a $70M Series A funding round, with $35M coming from debt via HSBC Innovation Banking and lending partners and $35M from equity. The round was led by Felicis, with participation from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, 8090 Industries, Starwood Capital, Thrive Capital, MCJ Collective, MVP Ventures, GOAT VC, and StepStone Group.

What are their plans for the money?

The funds will be used to support the domestic production and deployment of the Exowatt P3, aiming to make their modular, dispatchable solar solution more accessible and impactful for data centers and other high-demand commercial and industrial sectors.

What have they achieved so far?

Exowatt recently launched its flagship product, the Exowatt P3, at the RE+ conference in Anaheim. The company has already secured a demand backlog of over 90 GWh from data centers, energy developers, and hyperscalers across the U.S., with several commercial deployments scheduled to go live in 2025.
