PoliCloud raises €7.5M Seed to expand its sovereign HPC cloud infrastructure for public entities

What does PoliCloud do?

PoliCloud develops and provides sovereign, high performance computing (HPC) cloud infrastructure that merges proprietary hardware and micro-data centers with distributed cloud software through its collaboration with Hivenet. The solution is designed to offer secure, affordable, and decentralized computing for enterprises, public administrations, and local SMEs.

How much did they raise?

The company secured €7.5M in Seed funding, led by Global Ventures with participation from MI8, OneRagtime, Inria, and additional private investors.

What are their plans for the money?

With the new funding, PoliCloud intends to hire a robust operating team and drive global expansion, focusing on serving public entities across Europe. This growth is expected to further strengthen its position in the secure and eco-responsible cloud services market.

What have they achieved so far?

PoliCloud has already achieved significant early success by selling four PoliCloud units in just three months and is on track to generate over €6M in revenue by the end of 2025, achieving a cash flow positive status.
